Texting bride video goes viral

A video of a bride texting under her veil on her wedding day has gone viral.

After walking down the aisle with her father, the bride pauses, pulls out a cell phone from the top of her dress, and begins to text, one handed (She uses her other hand to hold onto her daddy).

“This is part of a wedding video I shot in August 2008 at the Mission Beach Women’s Club in San Diego, CA,” videographer James Costa wrote on his YouTube page. “It was otherwise perfectly normal except for this one funny clip of the bride TEXTING just after her dad walked her down the aisle!”

The video has garnered some critical responses from the blogosphere.

"Guess that's her something new" wrote Andrea Reiher at Zap2it.

"This bride actually thought there was something more important going on on her phone than her actual wedding. Er, correction, she wanted it to seem like there was something more important going on on her phone than her actual wedding. That is why most people text, right?" wrote Nicole Fabian-Weber on The Stir.
