Afghans talk about what a US troop withdrawal means to them

There are very mixed feelings when Afghans think about the US pulling troops out of their country. On one hand, Kabul resident Abaceen Nasimi told The World that many are convinced that the Afghan government can’t hold even for a month. Many were expecting the Americans to help them set up a functioning government, and that hasn’t happened. On the other hand, there will likely be fewer night raids and less fighting, so many people are happy about that.
