Joseph Braude’s new book is a murder mystery, that’s something of a microcosm of the Arab Spring. He talks with host Marco Werman about The Honored Dead: A Story of Friendship, Murder, and the Search for Truth in the Arab World.
While embedded with the Moroccan police in Casablanca, Braude filmed real-time confessions to murder and other crimes:
