The Obamas loved Brazil, Rio governor says

President Obama might be preparing to leave Chile for El Salvador, but the Brazilian press can’t stop talking about his visit here. The Rio de Janeiro tabloid O Dia has this story about all things Brazilian that the Obamas enjoyed, or may plan to enjoy: 1) All of Brazil, particularly Rio de Janeiro — Rio’s governor says the president, first lady and their daughters “loved it” here. He also said Obama promised to return for the three biggest events in the next five years: the World Cup, the Olympics, and, of course, Carnival. 2) Caipirinhas — according to the waiter at the Marriott hotel where the first family stayed, Michelle tried and “approved” this very Brazilian cocktail, made from cachaça, lime and sugar. Also, the waiter, while being nervous at first, said he eventually relaxed enough to correct one of the Obama girls on her Portuguese. It’s muito obrigada, not muy obrigado.
