Wisconsin: 11 Days at the Capitol

The Takeaway

Rahul Mahajan, a member of the Teaching Assistants Association has been sleeping at the capitol for eleven days. He says he won’t leave until a bill, which restricts collective bargaining rights, is defeated. Early Friday morning, Wisconsin’s Assembly passed the bill, which now goes to the Senate, but the state’s fourteen Democrats have yet to return to work.
