Anchor Lisa Mullins speaks with journalist, Nicholas Schmidle, who spent two years in Pakistan, often covering the conflict among local militants. He’s also witnessed the rise of the Taliban in certain areas. Schmidle’s new book probes the complexities of Pakistan. It’s called “To Live or to Perish Forever: Two Tumultuous Years in Pakistan”.
