Colombian march for hostage release

Colombian jungle. Today's protests were sparked by reports of the deterioration of Betancourt's health. The Colombian government said they wouldn't be able to do much, though they have attempted at negotiating with the FARC but today the FARC rejected the matter and said there would be no more hostage releases. The FARC is looking for political negotiation which Colombia apparently has not offered, says this analyst.
