The Mountain Goats

Faith Salie’s musical guest tonight is John Darnielle, a singer-songwriter who performs under the name The Mountain Goats, even when he’s all by himself. His wordy, poetic songs have been acclaimed by the New York Times and the New Yorker, and he was named one of the best living songwriters by Paste magazine. How about that? He’s on Fair Game along with cellist Erik Friedlander to perform a song from his latest album, Heretic Pride.
