Goldstein is the author ofProperties of Light: A Novel of Love, Betrayal, and Quantum Physics,The Mind-Body Problem, andStrange Attractors. She holds a Ph.D in Philosophy from Princeton University and in 1996 was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship.
