Schiff is a staff writer at The New Yorker and a screenwriter who has adapted Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita, as well as Deep End of the Ocean. He was Critic-at-Large at Vanity Fair and the film critic of Fresh Air on public radio. Stephen Schiff is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and is on the executive governing council of the Writers Guild of America.
