Royal Ford covers the automotive beat for GlobalPost. Ford spent the past decade as the automotive writer for the Boston Globe. In his 30 years at the Globe, he also served as a copy editor, national editor, New England roaming reporter, a writer of national features and a writer for the Globe Sunday magazine. As national editor, he helped conduct Washington coverage, including presidential campaigns. He is one of 50 select jurors on the North American Car and Truck of the Year panel, voted to the board unanimously by his peers. Ford graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire.
