She was born in Karachi, Pakistan and has moved around considerably since. She’s lived in Texas, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, Cairo, and New York, and now Boston. Previously, she has worked as an intern for Newsline magazine in Karachi, Pakistan and 002Houston, an arts and culture magazine in the downtown Houston area.
