Hendel Leiva

Hendel Leiva is an immigration reform advocate and immigrant integration specialist from Brentwood, New York. His advocacy work began through a neighborhood collective called Brentwood Gardens and has worked for immigrant rights organizations Long Island Wins and Define American. He currently hosts the immigration reform YouTube show The @HendelMedia Project, a new web series where he and other passionate immigration activists share their personal experiences and give their fresh take on local and national immigration news.
