Based in Seoul, Geoffrey Cain is GlobalPost's senior correspondent for North and South Korea. Previously, he covered South Korea for Time. He specializes in politics, business and health reporting, and has traversed Asia writing for The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, Far Eastern Economic Review, Foreign Policy, The New Republic, Fast Company, The Christian Science Monitor and others. He is regularly interviewed by the news media on Asian security and political issues, and has also worked as a political risk consultant for corporate clients in the region.

Geoffrey holds an MA (Distinction) from London's School of Oriental and African Studies and a BA from The George Washington University. He was a Fulbright scholar in Vietnam.
