Anne-christine d'Adesky is a veteran journalist, author, filmmaker, AIDS and human rights activist and public intellectual. She has reported on political and human rights issues, health care and issues related to HIV/AIDS for many major newspapers and magazines, including the Washington Post, LA Times, the Nation, Chicago Sun-Times, Village Voice, Ms. Magazine, OUT and the San Francisco Examiner.

As an author, she has published two books, a first novel set in post-Duvalier Haiti, "Under the Bone," and the non-fiction "Moving Mountains: The Race to Treat Global AIDS." In film, Ms. d’Adesky co-produced and co-directed an acclaimed 60-minute documentary, "Pills, Profits, Protest: Chronicle of the Global AIDS Movement" that aired on US Showtime.
