Athens’ chief heat officer is trying to save lives from the ‘silent killer’

It’s been hot in Europe this past week, and fires continue to rage across the Mediterranean. In Athens, Greece, it’s been nearly 100 degrees every day. The World’s Marco Werman talks to Athens’ chief heat officer, Eleni Myrivili. Her job is to save lives from extreme heat, and plan for the future to make cities more resilient to climate change.
