Conditions in Afghanistan under Taliban

When the Taliban seized control of the Afghan government in August of 2021, there was deep concern over the erosion of progress made over the rights of women, judicial reforms and basic human rights. Since then, poverty and food insecurity have eclipsed those concerns.
