The US has acknowledged dropping more bombs on Laos during the Vietnam War than America dropped on Germany and Japan during WWII.

At one point one-third of Laos had a US bomb on it.
President Obama has pledged $90 million dollars over three years to help remove unexploded US bombs that still kill and maim people in Laos today.
