At this point, in 2021, there’s no doubt that we’re in the wireless era. But yet, for the wireless era, we still have lots of wires to untangle — literally. We have HDMI cables, AUX cables, and of course, every type of charger you can dream up, from USB-C to Apple’s lighting cables. The European Commission has proposed a new rule that would standardize charging cables for smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices.
