Afghan women to the Taliban: #DoNotTouchMyClothes campaign
#DoNotTouchMyClothes: Images from Kabul this weekend showed women in black marching in pro-Taliban demonstrations. The women are wearing long, dark outfits, and their faces are nearly fully veiled. Taliban leaders say this form of dress is a return to Afghan tradition. Bahar Jalali, a former history professor at the American University in Afghanistan, disagrees. Jalali talks with The World’s Carol Hills about her online campaign to publicize what she considers to be traditional Afghan dress.
