The coronavirus pandemic has changed a lot in the political landscape around the globe. One of its consequences is the growth of authoritarianism, or its tendencies, in a number of countries and regions. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Luke Cooper, a London School of Economics researcher and author of the book “Authoritarian Contagion” about this phenomenon.
