A columnist in The Washington Post met a firestorm of online protest when he dismissed Indian cuisine by describing it as "based entirely on one spice." Food writer, cook, and photographer Nik Sharma knows his Indian cuisine and his Indian spices. He's an Indian by birth but lives in California where has fun offering up new Indian delicacies. Sharma speaks with Marco Werman.
