Sudan series: The future of religion and nationalism in Sudan

Over the past two weeks, we’ve been airing reports by The World’s Africa correspondent Halima Gikandi about the role of religion in Sudan following the ousting of former President Omar al-Bashir and his Islamist regime. It’s part of our two-year reporting project on religion and nationalism around the world, sponsored by the Henry Luce Foundation. On Friday, Gikandi joins host Marco Werman to talk about the series, and about expectations in the international community for Sudan.
