First Guantanamo detainee transferred under the Biden administration

Abdul Latif Nasser — imprisoned at the Guantanamo Bay military detention camp for 19 years — was transferred on Monday to Moroccan authorities. This is the first such transfer under the Biden administration. The World’s host Marco Werman talks to Carol Rosenberg to discuss the prison’s future. Rosenberg is a reporter for The New York Times, who has covered Guantanamo Bay since the camp was built in 2002.
