Eels make a comeback in England 

England’s rivers once seethed with eels. They were a staple of British cuisine and even were used as currency. But dams and diversions, not to mention parasites and climate change, have taken their toll. Their numbers have plummeted by 90%. Catherine Nixey of The Economist looks into efforts underway to bring eels back.
