Host Marco Werman tells us about the death of Armenian musical icon Djivan Gasparyan, “the master of the duduk,” as he was known. The duduk is a reed instrument similar to the clarinet. Gasparyan was the face of Armenian folk music who also found his way onto songs by Lionel Richie as well as Hollywood soundtracks.
