Questions persist over US ability to care for unaccompanied migrant children

Thousands of migrant children have arrived alone at the US-Mexico border this year. But the number of children in US shelters is now dropping as more children are placed with relatives in the United States. With fewer children in custody, the government is also closing some emergency shelters. The World’s immigration editor Monica Campbell reports on why those shelters are controversial — and ongoing concerns about whether the U.S. is prepared for this humanitarian challenge.
