Myanmar releases thousands of political prisoners 

Myanmar’s military government released over 2,000 political prisoners from its jails on Wednesday. Thousands more remain in prison following a military coup in February of this year. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Linda Lakhdhir from Human Rights Watch’s Asia Division on the significance of this development.
