Lebanon’s army is struggling to feed its soldiers during financial crisis 

Massive inflation in Lebanon is making fuel, food and medicine scarce. Even soldiers in the army are struggling to support their families or to buy enough food to drive to their base. Rebecca Collard reports that the weakening of this key institution in Lebanon undermines security and national cohesion.
