US-Russia relations over the years have been defined by altercation and disagreement. After Wednesday’s summit meeting in Geneva, both President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed a desire to turn the page, and improve relations between the two countries. Putin said that Biden is an experienced leader and that the discussion was productive. That doesn’t mean though that the summit led to any significant breakthroughs.
