In the West African country of Burkina Faso, two days ago, according to local officials, extremists killed more than 130 civilians. This was the worst terrorist atrocity in the history of the country. The massacre occurred in the village of Solhan in Yagha province, near Burkina Faso’s eastern border with Niger, an area that has been under threat of violence from both ISIS- and al-Qaeda-affiliated groups since 2015.
