Kenya’s first wildlife census

This month, Kenya launched its first-ever national wildlife census, an ambitious plan to count more than 1,000 wildlife species across the country. Kenya’s diverse wildlife has made it a top tourism destination. Officials and researchers hope the data collected from the census will help the tourism industry, as well as conservation efforts. The World’s Halima Gikandi reports from Kenya’s Rift Valley.
