Military in Mali reportedly detains top government officials

The international community is strongly condemning an “attempted coup” by Mali’s military, which on Monday arrested the government’s top civilian leaders, including the president and prime minister. The World’s Halima Gikandi reports on concerns that the military might try to cling to power following its successful military coup last year, which led to the resignation of former President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta.
