Myanmar general vows to ‘immediately’ stop killing

After nearly three months of horrific violence in Myanmar, the country’s top general says he will “immediately” stop the bloodshed. Myanmar is in a state of near-collapse following a coup in February. Police and security forces have responded to anti-coup protests with a wave of violence. The World’s Patrick Winn talks with host Marco Werman about whether the general’s vow is a breakthrough or a stalling tactic.
