US tries to reclaim climate leadership at summit

At a US-hosted climate summit launched on Earth Day, the Biden administration hopes to prove what it’s been saying for months: The US is back as a leader on climate action. The US is widely expected to announce new carbon-cutting targets ahead of a key UN summit this fall. The big question will be whether they can convince China to join them. The World’s environment correspondent Carolyn Beeler reports.
