New hope for domestic workers

More than 2 million people work behind closed doors in private US homes as nannies, housekeepers and health aides. Many are immigrants who face threats of trafficking, exploitation and abuse. As The World's Rupa Shenoy reports, an international body, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, is reviewing cases, putting a global spotlight on abuses here in the US, just as Congress considers a national domestic workers bill of rights, proposed by Vice President Kamala Harris.
