Studying coronavirus data with the help of a Swiss music box

When we hear about the coronavirus, we see lots of numbers like 2.8 million deaths worldwide or 552,000 deaths in the US. Even small numbers are confusing: third wave or fourth wave. It’s hard to connect emotionally. Simon Huwiler, a Swiss data journalist, wanted to find a way to punch through the numbers. So, he used an old-fashioned music box. The World’s Carol Hills has more.
