Myanmar’s army accused of murdering more than 100 people in 1 day

Myanmar’s military celebrated Armed Forces Day with a display of tanks, missiles and marches to extol the army’s glory on March 27. Meanwhile, its troops were dispatched across the country to quell a civilian uprising that began after the Feb. 1 military coup. More than 100 unarmed citizens were shot dead, including young children.
