Growing hunger in Central America leads to more migration

The past year has been especially rough for Central America. Countries there have been hit hard by the pandemic, hurricanes and, now, growing hunger. According to the World Food Program, nearly 8 million people in Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Guatemala are experiencing hunger this year, which is leading to more people migrating. The World’s Marco Werman talks to Miguel Barreto, who’s the regional director of the World Food Program for Latin America and the Caribbean.
