An endangered songbird is forgetting its song

A new study finds that the regent honeyeater, an Australian songbird on the brink of extinction, is not getting a chance to learn the correct mating song. The World’s Sarah Birnbaum reports that the birds are adopting the songs of other species, perhaps exacerbating their population decline.
