Study finds greenhouse gas footprints vary in nations’ recommended diets

About a quarter to a third of all greenhouse gas emissions globally come from the food system. Researchers at Tulane University wanted to find out carbon-intensity levels in various countries’ recommended diets. They examined suggested diets in seven countries and found that greenhouse gas footprints varied greatly. The World's Bianca Hillier reports.
