Mexico, amid scattered rollout, administers Russian Sputnik vaccine

As Mexican health officials stumble with their national vaccine rollout, leaving doctors and nurses without shots, the Russian government sent a lifeline this week with 200,000 doses of its Sputnik vaccine. As The World’s Jorge Valencia reports, the Russian government is using the Sputnik to extend its soft power across Latin America.
