The peaceful transition of power is a democratic principle that for the most part hasn’t been challenged here in the US. But this year, after this election, many Americans are nervous. President Trump refuses to concede the election, he has baselessly alleged that the vote was rigged — some leaders in Congress have followed suit, and now, the runoff election in Georgia, is adding to the tension.
