North Carolina Latino voter weighs in on election results
Throughout this year, we followed young Latino voters’ journeys to the polls as part of our “Every 30 Seconds” project. Approximately every 30 seconds, a Latino becomes eligible to vote. Now that the election is over, we’re hearing from some of these young people one last time. Brayan Guevara is a 20-year-old Afro Latino teacher and college student. He lives in Greensboro, North Carolina, and has been sharing stories of his identity and politics with us since the beginning of the year. So, what’s next for Guevara? WUNC reporter Naomi Prioleau has the story.
