How activists stopped a coal plant in Ghana 

In 2013, the government of Ghana announced plans for the country’s first coal-fired power plant. Environmental activist Chibeze Ezekiel went to work building a diverse grassroots coalition to stop the plant, and he won. He is now the recipient of the Goldman Environmental Prize for his work. On The World’s weekly look at climate change solutions, host Marco Werman speaks to Ezekiel about his activism.
