In a recent string of arrests, Egyptian authorities have targeted human rights activists in Cairo. The target this time is a human rights organization called the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights, or EIPR. Gasser Abdel Razek, EIPR's executive director, was arrested last week and yesterday he appeared before a prosecutor for questioning in a closed court. Abdel Razek is one of 3 members of EIPR who have been arrested in the last week. Host Marco Werman speaks with Human Rights Watch’s Middle East and North Africa researcher Amr Magdi.
