Saeb Erekat, a veteran Palestinian peace negotiator and spokesman for the Palestinian cause, died on Tuesday after contracting COVID-19. Even as negotiations stagnated over the years, Erikat consistently advocated for the two-state solution, which he said was his destiny in life.
