The Walt Disney Company has faced backlash in recent years for racist imagery in some of its movies. In November 2019, Disney began labeling titles with a disclaimer for “outdated cultural depictions.” Now, the media titan is strengthening that message by placing racism advisory warnings on some movies, including Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp, and Peter Pan.
