Mexico City’s government removed a statue of Christopher Columbus from the city’s Paseo de la Reforma, a main thoroughfare, in the early hours of Saturday ahead of a planned annual protest to mark the explorer’s 1492 arrival in the Americas. Host Marco Werman gets the story from the World's Jorge Valencia in Mexico City.
