Around the world, the coronavirus is causing spaces to be reused in new ways: Hotels are dorm rooms, arenas are voting locations — and now theaters are courtrooms. The Lowry Theatre in Salford, England, has been converted by the Ministry of Justice to help tackle a backlog of nearly 50,000 legal cases. The World’s Marco Werman speaks with Rachel Miller, The Lowry’s marketing director.
